Concession/Trader Spaces: Terms of Trading – Cygnet Events, Summer Fayre 2017
Bookings are accepted at the absolute discretion of Cygnet Events. Payment will be refunded in full for any booking refused.
Concession spaces are 6ftx 4ft. Any one stallholder may book a maximum of two spaces.
Concession spaces cost £100 to hire for the weekend if purchased before 30th June (price will increase to £200 after this date). Traders cost £300 per pitch for the weekend if purchased before 30th June (price will increase to £350 after this date).
Bookings must be made for the two days of the fayre and concession holders must remain in place for the duration of the fayre (Sat 10.00am – 6.00pm; Sun 10.00am – 6.00pm)
All concessions/traders must keep within their space.
Payment must be received at the time of booking for Early Bird discount before 30th June, or before 2 No booking will be confirmed until payment is received in full.
An electricity supply is available if required at a charge of £25
The concession/trader must not place goods beyond the boundaries of the stall, either on the ground or hanging, except by permission of the Market Place Manager
The concession/trader must keep the stall and fittings, and the space below the stall clean and free from litter.
Any concession/trader selling food products must comply with the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations as amended, and the Food Safety (Temperature Control) Regulations 1995 as amended.
The concession/trader must have public liability insurance cover for £2m and send in a copy of their insurance for verification purposes.
Any concession/trader selling food products must send in a copy of their hygiene certificate for verification purposes.
Any concession/trader selling food products must be registered with their Local Authority and will be required to provide proof of current registration.
All concessions/traders selling alcohol must have a temporary events licence – TEN which will need to be obtained from North Tyneside Council at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
All vehicles must be removed off-site after set up (or by 9am) as directed by the Site Manager. No concessions will be permitted to have vehicles on site during the hours of trading unless the vehicle is part of their stall.
Cygnet Events will not be liable for any loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, to any trader’s property or produce.
Cygnet Events will endeavour to accommodate specific stall location requests where possible but refuses the right to refuse a request or change an agreed position if necessary.
Cygnet Events reserves the right to order a concession/trader to cease trading in the event either of a breach of these terms and conditions or of a gross misconduct (which shall be deemed to include any behaviour liable to disrupt lawful trade or to damage the reputation of Cygnet events).
